HopeLine

The COVID19 pandemic is affecting people both medically and emotionally. Many people are isolated at home and are understandably worried, anxious, feeling disconnected from others, and depressed about the many issues related to this pandemic. While people remain isolated at home, we have an abundance of resources at our fingertips, including our very own members of the Christian Faith community. Our local churches are answering the call by establishing the Hopeline call center staffed by volunteers. People calling Hopeline will be connected to a volunteer. If you would like a word of encouragement, prayer or just someone to talk to, the volunteers are open ears and here to serve our community. Finally, they have an abundant list of resources to refer to.
The goal of Hopeline is to provide connection and hope to those struggling with the circumstances surrounding the COVID19 crisis through caring, compassionate support and encouragement, based on the love of God through our Lord Jesus Christ. We want to bring connections with anyone in our community.

Hopeline is not a hotline and is not taking the place of the Behavioral Health crisis line (533-7000) but is here to support the behavioral health burdens which are rapidly increasing due to the pandemic.

In a time of great uncertainty, I am certain God will be with us and an ever-present help in the time of trouble.

Hopeline, available Monday-Friday, 8 a.m.-5 p.m. 209-533-7991
