  • We’re currently seeking an Office / Legal Assistant who embodies the spirit of hard work and diligence. This is an in-person position (working 20-40 hours a week, with some flexibility). We pay $22.50 to $29.75 an hour, depending on experience and skills. We offer two weeks of PTO per year and discretionary bonuses are available based on good performance.
  • Our law firm has an extremely high-end clientele throughout California, but it is a casual work environment. We are prioritizing candidates who can quickly absorb training, be a self-starter and are naturally very organized. This is an on-site job (not remote), with a physical office in Sonora, California.
  • Must have experience using Word and Office Outlook. A background in a transactional law firm, escrow company or real estate office are a plus (but not required). We are only interested in applicants who are looking for a long-term career in law.
  • This position will:
  • Interact with clients and coordinate primary attorney calendar
  • Executive assistant tasks for primary attorney
  • Assist with general office tasks including filing, data entry, and correspondence
  • Demonstrate a proactive approach to problem-solving and task completion
  • Enter billable time and track client payments
  • Perform office administration tasks
  • Draft, edit and file legal documents

  • Tuolumne county is leading the nation in fuels reduction projects and has a helitack base on top of all the other crap we do to be fire safe and we get screwed #1 in the state for it. I’m so done. Maybe we should all stop talking about insurance and put the damn fires out. I could with 4 billion declare war on fire and stop it all.

  • I’m in Sacramento today. Fire insurance is the hot topic lol. Only took 10 years of hell, screaming, cancellations, depleted savings accounts, house sales, people moving out of state, and elderly becoming homeless in the rural counties for organizations and leadership to get involved. And why are they now involved? Their city voter base is being affected. So much has been wasted waiting for this day to come.
